Since the end of 2018, WINWIN has been welcoming guests with a new advertising strategy and the slogan “WINWIN Gaming & More”, thereby emphasizing that its outlets offer guests more: more fun, more games, more atmosphere, more hospitality and more good times.
There are now a total of 19 WINWIN outlets, with three new outlets opened in the reporting year. The new WINWIN Prater in Vienna offers a total of 80 different games on 50 VLTs in a luxurious 226-square-meter venue with magnificent stucco elements. A highlight at the venue is its exclusive range of VIP terminals. The second new outlet in Vienna, WINWIN Monte Laa, adds a further attraction to the popular Bohemian Prater since April 2018. The 300-square-meter venue aptly combines modern and elegant, classic design and also offers a choice of 50 VLTs as well as a range of VIP terminals. The new WINWIN outlet in Eugendorf near Salzburg opened at the end of March and is the fourth WINWIN outlet in the Salzburg region. Under the motto “Less is More”, WINWIN Eugendorf features a total of 15 state-of-the-art VLTs.
Österreichische Lotterien Gesellschaft m.b.H. holds the license to operate video lottery terminals (VLTs) in Austria pursuant to Art. 12a of the Austrian Gaming Act.
Video lottery terminals are optically similar to classic slot machines but differ very significantly from the latter in their gaming mechanism. While each slot machine calculates its win/lose decisions autonomously via a random generator, this decision is calculated for VLTs by a central random generator – based on predetermined odds and payout rates. This central computer then communicates the results to the individual terminals via a telecommunications link.
